Software Engineer II, Marketing Data Engineering

====================================================

Are you a software engineer who's passionate about building high-impact tools and platforms that empower data-driven decision-making? Do you thrive at the intersection of software and data engineering, and want to make an impact by enabling AI-powered systems at scale? If so, we invite you to join the Marketing Data Engineering team as our next Software Development Engineer II.

What you'll do

------------------

Design, build, and maintain tools that support the ingestion, processing, and delivery of large-scale marketing data across internal and external platforms. Build and contribute to systems that support AI and ML workflows, such as feature generation pipelines, model monitoring tools, or real-time data quality alerting. Help define and evolve software standards, patterns, and architecture for data focused use cases across the team. Write clean, well-structured, and maintainable code using languages such as Python, Scala, or Java, adhering to best practices including unit testing, CI/CD, observability, and code reviews. Drive software design discussions that balance system performance, cost-efficiency, and reliability, while aligning with business goals. Contribute to end-to-end project delivery in an agile development environment--from planning and implementation to deployment and post-launch support. Work closely with data engineers to develop shared libraries, testing frameworks, and observability tools that improve the team's operational efficiency. Collaborate with product managers, analysts, and data scientists to translate business requirements into technical solutions, ensuring data quality, reliability, and observability.

Who you are

---------------

You have

2+ years of hands-on software engineering experience

with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience); or 0-2 years with a Master's. You have built and maintained systems or platforms in production environments - ideally with cloud experience (AWS, GCP, or Azure). You're proficient in one or more languages such as

Python, Java or Scala

, and comfortable working with RESTful APIs, event-driven systems, and CI/CD pipelines. You have exposure to

data engineering workflows

(batch or streaming) and understand how to build reliable systems around data pipelines and processing frameworks like Spark or Kafka. You're

interested in AI/ML applications

and may have experience supporting AI/ML platforms, model-serving APIs, or monitoring and evaluation tools for ML. You're curious and self-motivated--

keen to learn more about data engineering

, and just as eager to help data engineers improve software practices like testing, modular design, and version control. You enjoy collaborating across disciplines, asking good questions, and contributing to a culture of engineering excellence.
