Responsibilities

Write high-quality, maintainable and reusable code that follows proven development principles. Collaborate with product managers and designers to define product requirements for a set of features. Contribute to architecture discussions and technical design specifications for feature sets. Write clear, articulate testing plans to ensure a high degree of code quality for a set of features. Collaborate across functional teams to deliver high quality features.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND

4+ years of overall experience

with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python + OR equivalent experience.
2+ years of experience as a professional software engineer developing and shipping production systems. 2+ years of experience in modern web application design, development using

React, Redux

frameworks. Solid CS fundamentals, experience in building scalable, secure, high-performance products and services.

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:

Microsoft Cloud Background Check:

This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Preferred Qualifications:

Excellent technical design, problem solving and debugging skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Solid communication skills and the ability to work well with product managers, designers and other engineers in a collaborative, cross-functional environment. 2+ years of experience with unit, integration, and e2e testing using Jest, Enzyme, React Testing Library, Selenium, Cypress, or similar technologies. Deep knowledge of and experience with React features including but not limited to functional components, context, hooks, and refs. Experience developing with middle layer technologies such as expressjs, GraphQL, and RESTful APIs. Some experience working with functional programming paradigms.
