Job Description

The Software Engineer role requires to participate on the Agile Program team by working collaboratively to design, develop, and maintain software application and platform contributing to project planning and execution. This role will practice software design principles, data structures, algorithms and Agile development methodologies. This also includes identifying and resolving software defects by unit testing in Sprints, optimizing code, resolve performance issues, and other problems that may arise during development and after deployment. Taking ownership of the features will involve working closely with Product managers, Program managers, Security team and other engineers to define requirements, plan features, and ensure successful project delivery.



As a self-motivated and innovative thinker, the SDE will work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment by learning new technologies, tools, and methodologies in the Payments domain and contribute to the team's effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities

:


Design and Develop software for payments platform - core and feature enhancement Verify and validate platform against legacy performance and full operating conditions Conducting code reviews to maintain code quality, adherence to standards, and identify potential issues

Deliver quality and effective applications as per company and PCI standards Sustaining Development and Integration

Create and maintain clear and comprehensive documentation, including design specifications, user guides, and code documentation.

The ideal candidate must have:

Knowledge of Linux OS and driver development

Excellent debugging, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Experienced in Multithreading, Socket Programming, UML.

It's a 5 Days Work from office role.

4+ Years of Design and Development experience in C, C++Graduation/ Degree: B.E. Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering or equivalent

Knowledge of Linux OS and driver development.

Excellent debugging, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.

Experienced in Multithreading, Socket Programming, UML.

Good years of Design and Development experience in C, C++.

Graduation/ Degree: B.E. Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering or equivalent.

Embedded systems experience.

Payments Domain (ISO 8583 Format, EMV understanding, Data Encryption. BIN ranges-PAN, End-to End transaction processing)

Multithreading

Experience in Scrum Framework

JIRA, SVN, GitHub
