Ensure Product Quality

Support the Customer Success & Customer Technical Support teams in resolving escalated customer issues Root-cause the field reported issue quickly and deescalate the field issue Update the tickets with effective communications to manage Customer Follow the AppLogic Networks process to ensure requirements are satisfied Participate in daily scrum meetings and provide updates on progress and obstacles Ensure alignment on the definition of "done" with the CS/CTS team & the Customer Enablement Team Leader Design solutions that meet the requirements of the Customer Deliver quality working software by adopting industry best practices & AppLogic Networks process Deliver high quality, high performance and maintainable code that is reviewed and meets coding standards Shape the future of the Internet with innovative products and solutions Consult with other R&D Engineers and Subject Matter Experts in real-time when issues are discovered or reported Commit to delivering scope within the agreed time

Skills development

Complete the training programs as prescribed Develop strong programming skills and domain knowledge as per your team's requirements Develop both written and verbal communication




Qualifications



Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or engineering (in similar disciplines)



6 months - 2 years of experience in Software development



Excellent academic records





The Skills You Bring


Excellent programming skills in one or more of (C/C++, Python, Java, Go or similar languages) Scripting Skills (Shell, Ruby, or, Bash, etc) Experience using git/github for version control Understanding of networking concepts and protocols Self-starter attitude and ability to make decisions independently A helpful, can-do attitude and a willingness to take ownership of problems Strong desire to learn and grow Excellent problem-solving skills with a history of superb delivery against assigned tasks Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong problem solving skills Experience with Unix, Linux or RTOS would be an asset Knowledge and experience on or more of the following would be an asset: Relational Databases, Postgres, SQL Java EE, SOAP, XML, Web Services technologies Linux system configuration, Network Functions Virtualization, and Software Defined Networking DPDK & drivers Open protocol standards such as Diameter and/or REST interfaces Knowledge of data modeling, machine learning algorithms, and data science techniques, including the majority of the following topics: clustering, linear regression, classification, decision trees, ensemble methods, boosting, cross validation, model evaluation, feature extraction and selection, hyperparameter tuning is an Asset Debugging and troubleshooting problems in test and in production Experience with GDB, Wireshark and similar industry standards aids would be desirable.
