CTG is seeking to fill a Software Engineer II opening for our client.
Location: Remote
Duration: 12 months
Overview:
Join a high-performing technical team responsible for designing, developing, and enhancing complex applications. This role contributes as both an individual developer and a technical lead for portions of larger initiatives, ensuring high-quality solutions and strong application performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform systems analysis, design, development, and debugging for complex applications.
Serve as a key contributor on major projects; mentor junior developers.
Develop technical specifications, documentation, test plans, and estimates.
Collaborate with Development, Operations, and Technology teams across the SDLC.
Analyze application interdependencies and recommend technology improvements.
Support application performance, reliability, and risk/regulatory requirements.
Lead or contribute to evaluations of vendor software and new technologies.
Required Qualifications:
Experience with Imperative Programming, Microservices, and Web Development.
Associate degree + 5 years of systems analysis/application development, OR 7+ years total relevant education/experience including 5 years development.
Strong skills in problem-solving, communication, time management, and technical documentation.
Experience working on multiple complex projects simultaneously.
Ability to collaborate with both technical and business partners.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with the Bank's application framework.
Subject matter expertise in the supported business area.
Advanced understanding of integrated enterprise applications.
Ability to work independently, lead components of complex projects, and manage priorities.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $44.99 to $74.98/hour. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market conditions, and applicable certifications or licensure.
