CTG is seeking to fill a Software Engineer II opening for our client.
Location: Remote
Duration: 12 months
About the Role:
We're seeking a Software Engineer II to design, develop, and enhance enterprise applications. You'll work on complex projects, support existing systems, and contribute technical expertise across the SDLC.
What You'll Do:
Design, develop, test, and debug application solutions
Contribute to complex projects as a key individual contributor
Guide junior developers and support cross-functional collaboration
Create technical specs, documentation, and review deliverables
Analyze system interdependencies and recommend improvements
Maintain stable operations of supported applications
Support risk, compliance, and audit requirements
Required Skills & Experience:
Spring Boot 3.x.x, Java 21+
GitLab pipelines, CI/CD, DevOps practices, SAST remediation
MS SQL Server, Linux, shell scripting
ELK/Kibana logging and monitoring
Red Hat Linux deployment experience
Azure Cloud (preferred)
5+ years in systems analysis/application development (or 7 years combined experience)
Preferred Experience:
Knowledge of Bank frameworks and integrated systems
Strong multitasking, communication, and documentation skills
Ability to work independently and lead small project efforts
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $44.99 to $74.98/hour. Salary offers depend on skills, experience, education, and other market factors. A competitive benefits package is also offered. About Us:
