Job Purpose

We are looking for a Software Engineer II to work at an intermediate level position in our Enterprise Business Intelligence Engineering team to maintain and enhance our existing BO universes, reports, and processes. This position requires strong knowledge data modelling and analysis, as well as knowledge in BO areas such as installations, administrations, configurations, universe design, universe maintenance/troubleshooting, and to a lesser extent report design and development. The overall objective of this role is to contribute to Business Intelligence Engineering team maintenance and development and activities.

What You Will Do:

• Data modelling and data architecture
• Installation and configuration of New Business Objects Server in the Cloud
• Security and user administration using the central management console
• Migration of Universe, reports, and connection using promotion management and upgrade management tool
• Universe design, maintenance, and troubleshooting using Universe Design Tool
• Strong SQL / PLSQL skills including creation of derived tables and the joining of tables in the universe
• And other duties as assigned.

What to Bring:

• 2 \xe2\x80\x93 4+ years in reporting tools, including SAP BO
• Strong knowledge of data modelling techniques and concepts
• Knowledge and experience with different versions of SAP BO including 4.1, 4.2, and 4.3
• Experience with installation and configuration of SAP Business Objects (BO)
• Experience with all tooling around BO for upgrades and promotions
• Solid understanding of universe design
• Good understanding of report development with Webi
• Good understanding of the nuts and bolts and security model
• Good troubleshooting skills
• Solid SQL skills both in terms of scripting and writing complex queries
• Development Experience working in Agile environment
• Attention to detail
• Flexibility, willingness to learn
• Good written and verbal communication

• Visa Sponsorship: Employment eligibility to work with Quorum Software in India is required as the company will not pursue visa sponsorship for this position.
