JOB OVERVIEW
As a Software Engineer II - for Trade Product team Canada Trade Nexus application, you would be responsible for analyzing requirements, documenting system flow, functional/technical testing, and release of custom applications.
Individual should be able to work independently on large projects. Individual should be expert in required technologies and provide guidance/help to others. Individual should be able to understand business requirement and convert into technical specifications.
As a Full-Stack Developer you will be responsible for executing all tasks through the software development life cycle including analysis, design, development, testing, implementation, and documentation. In this role you will:
xc2xb7 Work with a cross-functional team including analyst, PMs, and business stakeholders in business value driven projects
xc2xb7 Translate application storyboards and use cases into functional applications
xc2xb7 Ensure the code follows latest coding practices and industry standards
xc2xb7 Write both unit and integration tests, and develop automation tools for daily tasks
xc2xb7 Challenge ideas and opinions to avoid pitfalls and inefficient solutions
xc2xb7 Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
xc2xb7 Strong knowledge of C# and the .NET web framework
xc2xb7 Experience using JavaScript frameworks and libraries, such as React, Angular, Vue etc.
xc2xb7 Experience writing and utilizing autonomous services oriented RESTful API services and performance tuning largescale apps
xc2xb7 Ability to write effective unit, integration, and end-user automation tests
xc2xb7 Knowledge of Object-Oriented programming
xc2xb7 Demonstrate the ability to build a work plan or parts of a work plan, as applicable for role
xc2xb7 Have implemented medium projects or contributed to the implementation of a large project as an analyst.
xc2xb7 Proficient in two technologies/systems and focus on building depth and breadth of skills.
xc2xb7 Expand knowledge of, and ability to apply, techno-functional standards by assisting in their revision
xc2xb7 Possess a good working knowledge of the IT application and technical tools landscape
xc2xb7 Begin to demonstrate initiative and ownership by proactively resolving issues and taking on multiple tasks

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• Education Full time graduation from an accredited university (Mandatory- Note: This is the minimum education criteria which cannot be altered)

• Preferred Major Area of Study: Computer Science
• Experience

• Minimum years of related experience required: 5+ years
• Preferred years of related experience: 7+ years
• Experience as a Technical Business Analyst: 3 to 5 Years.
