Global Business Services delivers Technology and Operations capabilities to Lines of Business and Staff Support Functions of Bank of America through a centrally managed, globally integrated delivery model and globally resilient operations.

In India, we are present in five locations and operate as BA Continuum India Private Limited (BACI), a non-banking subsidiary of Bank of America Corporation and the operating company for India operations of Global Business Services.

Process Overview

Global Banking and Markets Technology (GBAMT) provides technology solutions for the Banking and Markets divisions of the Bank.


Global Markets Technology provides end-to-end technology solutions for Global Markets businesses including Equities, Prime Brokerage, Interest Rates, Currencies, Commodities, Derivatives and Structured Products. Across all these products, solutions include architecture, design, development, change management, implementation and support using various enterprise technologies.


GMOT - Cleared Derivatives Risk Technology consists a suite of applications for intraday risk monitoring of both Cleared Futures and Options and OTC derivatives. Cleared Derivatives Risk Technology supports the business process of continuously updating the latest intraday risk exposed for the counterparties. The India team engages with the LOB counterparts contributing towards strategic and BAU project deliverables

This job is responsible for developing and delivering complex requirements to accomplish business goals. Key responsibilities of the job include ensuring that software is developed to meet functional, non-functional and compliance requirements, coding solutions, unit testing, and ensuring the solution can be integrated successfully into the overall application/system with clear, robust, and well-tested interfaces. Job expectations include an awareness of development and testing practices in the industry. The ideal candidate must be well versed in Listed Futures, Options and OTC business, highly self-motivated and must have relevant experience.

Possess a high level of analytical and creative skills Participate and provide suggestions in technical design discussions Interact with Business Partners and come up with solutions Responsible for functional delivery of assigned applications Designs, develops, enhance, debugs, supports, maintain and tests applications that support business units or supporting functions. Be a seasoned and proficient technical resource Flexibility in adapting to team requirements Ensuring adherence to development standards, best practices Ensuring high quality levels in all deliverables Participate and contribute to Team/Project Reviews Learn new technologies when directed as future development may involve diverse development platforms, software, hardware, technologies and tools Effectively convey message in both written and verbal development discussions Adhere to team's governing principles and policies Participate in mandatory training and cross functions across team Demonstrate enthusiasm and zeal to acquire domain knowledge

Requirements

Education : BE/ B. Tech/ M. Tech/ MCA Certifications If Any: NA Experience Range : 6- 9 years of relevant experience

Foundational skills

:

Proficiency in Python Good Analytical , Debugging and design skills Strong SQL Knowledge. Good designing skills Effective Communication - Clear, Concise & Ability to articulate Problem/Solution

Desired skills

Good to have exposure on Python, DevOps Work experience in Finance Domain Certifications on Domain / Programming
