As a Software Engineer II at JPMorgan Chase within the Consumer & Community Banking Team, you are part of an agile team that works to enhance, design, and deliver the software components of the firm\'s state-of-the-art technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. As an emerging member of a software engineering team, you execute software solutions through the design, development, and technical troubleshooting of multiple components within a technical product, application, or system, while gaining the skills and experience needed to grow within your role.

Job responsibilities

• Play a critical and high-profile role delivering an outstanding experience to our end users and customers.
• Define or Visualize User journeys or customer flow, interaction models and UI (user interface) specifications.
• Analyze product requirements, customer feedback to build customer-focused designs.
• Develop and maintain design wireframes (basic mock-ups of applications) and specifications.
• Create style guides, visual design patterns and supporting graphics for new and existing products.
• Showcase design solutions to the stakeholders through mock-ups and interactive prototypes.
• Coordinate with the development team for the implementation of the final design.
• Ability to own the overall UX design strategy, being able to develop the UX-related assets for critical projects, as well as assisting product owner(s) to set the vision.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 2+ years applied experience
• Screen reader testing tools(JAWS, NVDA, Voiceover)
• Automated testing tool(AXE)
• WCAG 2.1 guidelines
• Mobile Accessibility testing
• Screen Reader navigation, Desktop Firefox/NVDA, Desktop Chrome/JAWS, Mobile iOS Safari/VoiceOver, Mobile Android Chrome/Talkback
• Keyboard only navigation
• Basic knowledge of Semantic HTML
• Basic knowledge of ARIA, Accessibility Rich Internet Application
