Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Resolves assigned tasks in an efficient and effective manner. (Customer or internal.) + Quality code with minimal bugs

Understands and follows SDS (Smart Data Solutions) workflow and associated technical systems. Applies analytical and business knowledge to solve customer-specified problems adhering to SDS coding standards and policies. Adheres to SDS's courteous and professional written and verbal communication standards. + Consistently high rating on customer satisfaction surveys
Documents existing project architectures, dependencies, and workflows. Understands and demonstrates application functionality. Works independently with minimal guidance. Applies strong UI/UX design principles to create intuitive, user-friendly interfaces that enhance user experience across web applications. Collaborates with stakeholders to translate user needs into functional and visually appealing designs Ensures consistency in design elements and usability across platforms

Application Development

Completes development projects as specified by development manager, adhering to SDS coding standard and policies. Programs appropriate changes as specified by development manager, adhering to SDS coding standard and policies. Reviews applicable changes (in particular system related changes) with peer/manager and get approval on programming changes from manager. Develops test cases and data and test all changes and new modules. Communicates professionally with internal and external customers to document application requirements and business rules Participates in creation of application documentation including technical documentation and user guides Other duties as assigned

Application Support

Troubleshoot production applications when defects or malfunctions arise Identify, implement, test, and deploy fixes for defects and malfunctions Communicate professionally with internal and external customers to understand issues and provide timely support and resolution.

Business Analysis

Ability to interpret customer business processes, analyze problems and recommend programmable solutions. Other duties as assigned

Skills and Qualifications

Proficiency with C#, IIS, and ASP.NET platforms Proficiency with Windows operating systems Proficiency with basic IP networking Knowledge of relational databases and SQL Server Oral Communication Written Communication Math Aptitude Organization Professionalism Reading Time Management At least a bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent * 3+ Years experience with technologies listed in previous section
