Infor is seeking an experienced Software Developer to join the IBM i Common Products team that develops, maintains, and enhances the server components of the IDF framework support in ERP system and its components. This developer is decisive, action-oriented, learns quickly, independently, and takes ownership of open issues. The work includes a variety of activities ranging from architecting, designing, and developing new features to fixing bugs, creating requirement & design documents to tests.

Essential Duties:

Designing, coding, and debugging software

Maintain, upgrade and enhance existing software

Review and resolve software-related findings and make required changes

Regularly attend team meetings to discuss projects, brainstorm ideas, and provide status updates

Improve performance of existing software

Work closely with the product team and QA to ensure product is well-tested and updates are properly deployed

Write and maintain design specification documents

Investigate product functionalities, new technologies or 3rd party software for areas to improve current product.

Provide technical expertise to troubleshoot issues reported by the customers, support or QA.

Estimate, prioritize and refine tasks during the Sprint Planning event

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor\'s degree in computer science, or related field preferred.

3+ years full software development working experience, familiarity with web servers, web GUI, and Web APIs.

3 to 4 years of solid experience with RPG ILE, SQL RPGLE, and Free RPG

DB2 for IBM I, DDS and SQL Language, and good knowledges of AS/400.

Good communication skills and comfortability speaking in small group settings

Proven experience in software development methodologies

Strong analytical skills

Ability to multi-task

Self-teacher in acquiring technical skills

Preferred Qualifications:

Proven experience with programming languages in Java, JavaScript and c#.

Ability to work in current technical environments and with collaborative tools (Jira, Confluence)
