As the Asset Management Engineering team, we are a mature Agile outfit with a flexible working environment, where we are always looking to innovate in terms of our solutions, processes and the technologies we use. Along with our established client-server products, we are now focusing on the development of cloud-based mapping , analytics, Micro Frontends and micro-services for our utilities customers. We are seeking to hire people with the right mindset and approach to help augment and grow our current team - along with your technical expertise and knowledge, your ability to problem-solve, innovate and work as an effective member of the team will be critical to your success.

As a Full stack software developer, you will work closely with your Product Development peers in fast-paced Agile development teams building efficient APIs and building user interfaces using the latest software development technologies and infrastructure. Your tasks will include building database code, energizing the company\xe2\x80\x99s cloud platform, among others. You are also responsible for designing and programming a small module or a large component and designing a feature, set of features, or whole feature area. She/he will work independently and contribute to the immediate team and to other teams across business. She/he will Lead design discussion in a limited manner.



Roles and Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Collaborate with system engineers, frontend developers and software developers to implement solutions that are aligned with and extend shared platforms and solutions
  • Apply principles of SDLC and methodologies like Lean/Agile/XP, CI, Software and Product Security, Scalability, Documentation Practices, refactoring and Testing Techniques
  • Writes codes that meets standards and delivers desired functionality using the technology selected for the project
  • Build features such as web services and Queries on existing tables
  • Understand performance parameters and assess application performance
  • Work on core data structures and algorithms and implement them using language of choice
Education Qualification

For roles outside USA:

Bachelor\'s Degree in Computer Science or \xe2\x80\x9cSTEM\xe2\x80\x9d Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) with basic experience.

For roles in USA:Bachelor\'s Degree in Computer Science or \xe2\x80\x9cSTEM\xe2\x80\x9d Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) with minimum years of experience2years

Desired CharacteristicsTechnical Expertise:

Fullstack developer with Java , Spring boot and Java script expereince .
Experience with front-end technologies such as Javascript, HTML5, CSS, AngularJS, BackboneJS, EmberJS, KnockoutJS
Experience with database tools (JPA, Hibernate,JDBC, Spring Data)
Experience with rules engines (Camel, Drools, JRules) & modern tooling (Gradle, Maven, Git, SVN)Comfortable in building features such as web services and Queries on existing tables.
Aware of methods and practices such as Lean/Agile/XP, etc.
Prior work experience in an agile environment, or introductory training on Lean/Agile. Aware of and able to apply continuous integration (CI).
General understanding of the impacts of technology choice to the software development life cycle.
