About this team The Frontend Platform team builds, enhances, secures and maintains the core frameworks and shared capabilities that power our consumer facing web and mobile applications. The platform team provides an intuitive design language system, standard interaction and data integration patterns, cross-cutting capabilities like security, robust build-test-deploy pipelines, and more to our customer-centric product teams so that they can focus on building & delivering delightful customer journeys. About this role; responsibilities & ownership

• We are looking for a Software Engineer who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys driving innovation through rapid prototyping and iterative development.
• Design and build advanced desktop & mobile optimized web applications in Typescript & ReactJS in a collaborative, agile environment.
• Write testable, clean, efficient code that can be confidently released in production.
• Bring a keen eye for design and detail to deliver joyous experiences to our customers.
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.

Requirements & qualifications

• Bachelors' or above in Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in building web applications in a modern front-end stack like React.js/Redux and Node.js.
• Deep experience with Node.js, TypeScript, JavaScript and RESTful APIs.
• Strong familiarity with HTML/CSS and React.js and its lifecycles and hooks.
• Experience with agile processes, testing, CI/CD and production error/metrics monitoring.
• Eager and willing to learn new things. Staying up to date with the latest technologies.
• Ability to think through architectural problems, find reasonable solutions, and work with other members to build them.
