Software Engineer (FullStack)

eBay is looking for a skilled and enthusiastic

Full-Stack Developer

to join the

Cloud Security team

.

The goal of this role is to

ensure the security and integrity of cloud-based platforms

by building robust, scalable applications and features that support

safe and secure computing practices

The ideal candidate will have

front-end and back-end expertise

with a strong focus on

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain

secure, scalable applications using modern tech stacks.

Collaborate

with security architects and cross-functional teams to implement security standards and enhancements.

Ensure adherence to

best practices

for security, performance, and reliability in line with eBay's coding standards.

Conduct

security assessments

, identify vulnerabilities, and resolve them to safeguard platforms.

Participate in

code reviews

, providing constructive feedback to enhance security and promote secure coding.

Stay updated with

industry trends

to improve eBay's cloud security posture.

Qualifications

Education

: Bachelor's in Computer Science, Engineering, Cybersecurity, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Experience

: Proven full-stack development background with a focus on

secure software development

.

Technical Skills

Proficiency in

JavaScript

React

,

Node.js

.

Familiarity with

workflow engines

for app development (plus).

Expertise in

security principles

and risk mitigation tools/methodologies.

Experience with

RESTful APIs

OpenAPI specification

SQL

secure cloud platforms

and architecture.
