How You Will Contribute: The Blue Planet software division is seeking a Software Engineer 2A to build software products in the area of Telecom Service Assurance domain. The Candidate will be responsible for developing high quality Network Resource Adapters in a timely and cost-effective manner. Engineer will be responsible for design, development and testing of Assurance Resource Adapters for Networks including IP/MPLS, Optical networks, Telco cloud, 5G, SD-WAN etc. You will get an opportunity to innovate and influence new technologies that shape the future of Next Generation OSS platforms. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain Resource Adapters(RA) in the areas of Telecom OSS FM, PM, Inventory domains
• RA design & development for different Network Element types; Ensuring conceptual integrity; Reviewing all designs; Evolves design and maintenance guidelines/standards; Ensures standardization to existing tools ; evaluating new features; Ensuring usability of the system
• Assist in preparation of RA Release Plan
• Handover of delivery-to-Delivery Team
• Assist in preparation of requirement documents.
• Attend training and to develop relevant knowledge and skills.
• Develop & deliver strategic RAs with advanced networking capabilities.

The Must Haves:

• 
  Software Engineer with 3-5 years of experience in OSS development & deployment space
• Having experience in object-oriented programming (Java) is a must.
• Working experience on XML, Perl/python/shell or other scripting languages in Linux-based environment is a must.
• Software Development experience in Telecom OSS FM, PM, Inventory domains
• Understanding Telecom Protocols like NETCONF, SNMP, Telemetry, TL1
• At least 2 to 3 years of experience preferably with Telecom Operations, Vendor Network Management Systems and OSS systems
• Knowledge of eToM principles
• Experience in developing plans for system usability along with process experts.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Electronics/IT/Computer Science Engineering or equivalent
