Position: Software Engineer - Controls Software (PW715FT RM 3847)

Education : B.E, B.Tech, M.Sc. Electronics/Computer Science

Minimum experience : 1+ years of experience in computer maintenance and support

Reports to : Build Team Engineer, Resource Manager

Location : Majorly Shirwal, once in week Katraj, Pune

Skillset- mainly C#, Windows application

Expert in

Installation of Windows Operating System.

Configuration of PC systems devices and updating drivers from internet if necessary

Installation of applications on the PC using standard procedure.

Testing the installed applications, generating reports as necessary

Onsite support for Equipment testing and validation, Line Bring Up, troubleshooting and resolving issues during production.

Knowledge of C# programming using Visual Studio, Electro mechanical sensors and actuators is added advantage.

Purpose of Job : Setting up the Fixture (Station) PCs for the trials at WP manufacturing facilities as well as at CM place.

Key Responsibilities

Configuring the PC with necessary operating system and applications.


Configuring the devices, performing basic testing.


Executing the station trials as per the test procedure.


Performing the same testing trials ar CM place after the station is dispatched.


Onsite support during equipment installation and during production.

Reports

Should update the time sheet regularly in the plannning system


Should update the list of activities and task finished in the planning system

Meetings

Review meetings whenever applicable.
