A top-three cockpit electronics player delivering a rich, connected cockpit experience for every car from luxury to entry Position: Senior Software Engineer - Tools Primary Responsibilities

• Understanding End-User requirements and generate high-level design.
• Develop tools and ecosystem for AUTOSAR and allied technologies.
• Evaluate available OSS solution for Eclipse based frameworks and come up with recommendations based on merits.
• Perform Unit, Functional Testing and automated regression testing for the tools developed.
• Knowledge sharing to team on features worked.
• Need to participate in Defect Triage meeting and demonstrate the issues identified to Requirements & Development Teams.
• Use of tools for Testing, Defects Management, Configuration Management.

Typical Duties

• Ability to work as a very good team member and share resources, work content to meet common team goals.
• Work and collaborate internally within the team to deliver the necessary tooling to enable faster software development.
• Perform testing of products in an iterative, agile software lifecycle

Requirements Years of Experience: 5 - 8 years
Degree Strongly Preferred: Electronics/Electrical/Instrumentation/Computer Science Desired Competencies/Experience

• Good understanding of Java and Java FX frameworks.
• Good understanding of ARTOP, ARXML and AUTOSAR meta-model.
• Knowledge on - OOP design patterns and its practical applications.
• Good knowledge about Eclipse bundles/plugins and Eclipse based applications.
• Knowledge on - Eclipse Modeling Framework and EMF based frameworks like Acceleo, EMF Forms, Teneo/Hibernate.
• Knowledge on docker deployments on Linux
• Knowledge on databases such as MySQL.
• Knowledge on UML and preferably on IBM Rational Rhapsody
• Basic knowledge on SVG, HTML.
