What you'll do:

As a Lead at Equifax, you will oversee and steer the delivery of innovative web product , primarily leveraging Java with microservices and the AWS . Your expertise will ensure the efficient and timely deployment of high quality data solutions that support our business objectives and client needs.


Project Leadership: Lead the design, development, and deployment of batch and data products, ensuring alignment with business goals and technical requirements. Technical Oversight: Provide technical direction and oversee the implementation of solutions using Java and AWS , ensuring best practices in coding, performance, and security. Team Management: Mentor and guide a team of developers and engineers, fostering a collaborative and high performance environment. Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with cross functional teams including product managers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions. Quality Assurance: Implement rigorous testing strategies to ensure the reliability and accuracy of data products. Performance Optimization: Monitor and optimize the performance of batch processes and data solutions, identifying and resolving any bottlenecks or issues. Documentation and Compliance: Maintain comprehensive documentation for all technical processes, ensuring compliance with internal and external standards. Continuous Improvement: Advocate for and implement continuous improvement practices within the team, staying abreast of emerging technologies and methodologies.
What experience you need:


Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in relevant software development technologies, with a focus on batch processing and data solutions. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Java, with a strong understanding of its ecosystems. Minimum 5 years of experience in Design patterns, OOAD Minimum 5 years of experience Java, Sprint, Spring Boot, REST, Microservices, Hibernate, JPA, RDBMS Minimum 5 years of experience Git, CI/CD Pipelines, Jenkins Experience with AWS Services (EKS, Lambda, S3) and other key services such as:

SQS (Simple Queue Service):

A message queuing service used for decoupling microservices and creating asynchronous communication between different components of an application.

RDS (Relational Database Service):

A managed service that simplifies the setup, operation, and scaling of relational databases in the cloud.

DynamoDB:

A fast and flexible NoSQL database service that provides consistent, single-digit millisecond latency at any scale.

Glue:

A fully managed extract, transform, and load (ETL) service that makes it easy to prepare and move data for analytics.

CloudWatch:

A monitoring and observability service that provides data and actionable insights to monitor applications, respond to system-wide performance changes, and optimize resource utilization. Soft Skills: Excellent leadership and team management skills. Strong problem solving abilities and a proactive approach to project management. Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders.
