Summary Responsible for designing, building, delivering and maintaining software applications & services. Working in the areas of machine, cloud, platform and/or application. Responsible for software lifecycle including activities such as requirement analysis, documentation/procedures and implementation. Roles & Responsibilities Designing and developing high-volume, low-latency java applications for mission-critical systems and delivering high-availability and performance Analysing user requirements to inform application design. Defining application objectives and functionality. Aligning application design with business goals. Developing and testing software. Debugging and resolving technical problems that arise. Producing detailed design documentation. Recommending changes to existing Java infrastructure. Developing documentation to assist users. Work closely with tech -lead to finish coding assignments Ensure that the solutions are timely in nature and through detailed comparative analysis of solutions options with global stake holders, solutions are scalable, sustainable, fault tolerant, and within operational cost budgets. Required Qualifications: Bachelor\'s Degree in Computer Science or in \'STEM\' Majors (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math). Experience in Core Java (Java 8 or above) Knowledge in Spring boot Code versioning tool (Preferably GIT) Expertise in Docker Hands on development experience in Kubernetes Desired Qualification: Knowledge in Kafka - How to create consumers, producers, partitions, topic, performance tuning Knowledge of BDD Knowledge of Azure cloud Knowledge in flink/Grafana/Prometheus/quarkus/helm are added advantage Inclusion and Diversity GE Healthcare is an Equal Opportunity Employer where inclusion matters.
