Job Description

The proactive and quick learner, BASIS Administrator, will work with others in the team and assist in project and time-critical activities such as system design, installation, development, testing, and deployment. Specific tasks include performance monitoring, project Go-Live, functional analysis, configuration management, database administration, executing SOP, SAP BASIS, interface/middleware maintenance, and system monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Install and configure SAP systems.
• Monitor and maintain Ecolab\'s SAP instance.
• Own the SAP Ecolab\'s instance\'s administrative activities and be an active member in the troubleshooting efforts.
• Troubleshoot the issues, escalate to other tiers as appropriate proactivity checking OSS notes, monitor EWA, alerts, and take actions in time.
• Monitoring SAP systems, systems Logs, Work processes overview, Lock entries, Updates, background jobs, system health check.
• Participate in system refresh tasks, client copies, archiving, system build, install, and other planned and unplanned Basis activities.

• 3-5 years of experience as an SAP Basis Administrator with a good understanding of SAP technologies
• Hands-on experience in implementation and monitoring tools of systems.
• Early Watch configuration and analysis experience
• Experience in Integrations and monitoring integrations for failures
• SAP Data Services
• installation, upgrades, performance tuning, and system integrations
• Experience in SAP Sizing by using the SAP Quicksizer and SAP Data Archiving
• Network security design based on SAP products and Azure
• operational procedures
• Skills on Linux are required, Redhat OS preferred
• ITIL Process
• ABAP and scripting skills
• Proficiency in oral and written English
