Eurofins IT Solutions India Pvt Ltd (EITSI) is a fully owned subsidiary of Eurofins and functions as a Global Software Delivery Center exclusively catering to Eurofins Global IT business needs. The code shipped out of EITSI impacts the global network of Eurofins labs and services.

The primary focus at EITSI is to develop the next generation LIMS (Lab Information Management system), Customer portals, e-commerce solutions, ERP/CRM system, Mobile Apps & other B2B platforms for various Eurofins Laboratories and businesses. TITLE: Software Engineer

REPORTING TO: Manager

WORKING LOCATION: Bangalore, India

SPECIFIC ASSIGNMENTS:

• Contribute to the design, development, troubleshoot, test, support and document a web application.

• Interact in a constructive manner with Business Analysts in order to:

• Estimate the complexity and the workload;

• Choose the most appropriate technical solution to meet the user requirements;

• Reach the optimal requirement artifact that will lead to a working software solution.

• Interact in a constructive manner with other IT teams.

• Master and apply team technologies and processes, and take active part in creating Eurofins and team success.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

Experience:

• 2 to 8 years of experience with developing end \xe2\x80\x93to- end web applications using Microsoft stack of Technologies.

• Strong working knowledge of Web application development using .NET Core, C#, Asp.net MVC Web API,

• Strong working knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, JQuery, Angular 5 or above, HTML5 and CSS3 technologies

• Should have worked on at least one SOA (Service Oriented Architecture)/Microservices project

• Strong working knowledge of MSSQL \xe2\x80\x93 SQL, T-SQL etc.

• Good understanding of UML, object-oriented programming (OOP) and Object Oriented Design principles

• Strong knowledge of software implementation best practices and design patterns

• Strong experience in designing and working with n-tier architectures

• Should have worked in an AGILE practice methodology (preferably SCRUM)

• Able to provide technical recommendations and solve technical problems

• Must be a quick learner

Technology skills:

• Strong and proven background in Information Technology

• Strong working knowledge of .NET, C#, MVC, Web services, WCF Rest and WebAPI

• Strong working knowledge of JavaScript, TypeScript, JQuery, Angular 5 or above, HTML5 and CSS3 technologies

• Strong knowledge of MS SQL Databases

• Familiar with Unit and UI testing

• Technology \xe2\x80\x93 Nice to have:

• Working experience with Azure or AWS

• Working understanding of containerization via Docker and Kubernates

• Working knowledge of SEED

• Methodology skills \xe2\x80\xa2 AGILE, ATDD, TDD, UML

Personal Skills:

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

• Excellent verbal/written communication skills. Fluent in English and the working country language

• Should be a self-motivated, independent, detail oriented, responsible team-player and exhibit exceptional relationship management skills

• Ability to work in a complex international environment

• Experience in Agile (Scrum) methodologies would be a plus.

• Ability to adapt quickly to an existing, complex environment. \xe2\x80\xa2 Ability to quickly learn new concepts and software is necessary

• Good communication and interpersonal skills to interact with team in Europe

• BE Computer Science/MCA or any other Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree with the right experience

• Will be an added advantage if worked on SaaS method

• International work experience

TRAVEL: Ready to travel to Europe (10 \xe2\x80\x93 20%)
