Role Overview

In this role, you will contribute significantly to the backend development of our product. Your responsibilities will include:
Development and Learning: + Building efficient, clean, and reusable features, libraries, and components.
+ Participating in code reviews to ensure quality and foster knowledge sharing.
+ Engaging in discussions on software design and contributing to key technology decisions.
+ Supporting deployment, monitoring, and testing strategies to enhance product reliability and performance.
Team Collaboration: + Working alongside team members on various development tasks and projects.
+ Adapting to new frameworks and languages as necessary to achieve project goals.
+ Taking initiative in addressing challenges and contributing to the team's problem-solving efforts.

What We're Looking For

A genuine interest in backend development and eagerness to engage with all aspects of SaaS platform development. The ability to learn new technologies and frameworks as required. Experience with or willingness to learn about various storage backends like PostgreSQL, Redis, etc. A proactive approach to code writing, reading, and review. An agile mindset, with the capacity to prioritize and make decisive product decisions.

Ideal Candidate

You're passionate about simplifying workplace communications. You're keen to grow rapidly within a startup environment and embrace challenges. You enjoy working autonomously and excel in solving open-ended problems. You have a background in backend development, particularly with

Node.js and TypeScript.

Experience with Sequelize and PostgreSQL is viewed favorably.
