Your day to day: As a Full Stack JavaScript Engineer, you will be responsible for working on applications and services that handles customer facing high traffic pages on paypal.com. You will work in a fast-paced environment where continuous innovation and experimentations are a given. You will master both established and cutting-edge technologies like, JavaScript, Node.js, React.js, Redux, Next.js, HTML5, CSS3 and CMS. Your responsibilities will also include: Work closely with design & product to craft great product experiences Collaborate with peers and seniors within and across the teams Be an expert in the languages, system components and concepts of web applications:JavaScript/TypeScript,Node.js, web browsers, http, content delivery networks Be an expert in the tools and processes needed to build, deploy, and manage web applications: IDEs, linters, continuous integration, containerization Be an expert in PayPal-specific components, services, and software development lifecycle that every web engineer at PayPal relies upon Drive innovation through rapid prototyping and iterative development.
