Main Job Responsibilities:

• Collaboration with application and database design.
• Implementation of software development best practices.
• Develop scalable, optimum, reusable and well documented code.
• Work synchronized with the team, delivering applications as established on timelines.
• Follow the Software Development Life Cycle defined by IS-Guatemala.
• Test modules developed in parallel to minimize time spent on Alpha Tests.
• Manage available resources efficiently across the team.
• Share with the team self-knowledge that may result in better products build.
• Maintain constant communication with team members, especially with the director.

• Create and maintain required documents of the modules developed using versioning.
• Troubleshoot any issue that might arise in on production applications in a systematic manner to get them resolved ASAP.

• Hands on coding experience is mandatory in order to objectively set the project timelines. Should have knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel and Word and any Project Management Software.
• Experience of managing multiple IT disciplines i.e. software development, technical support, systems architecture etc.
• A broad understanding of computer systems, applications and operating systems.
• Must have good soft skills, i.e. written & spoken communication, resentation, leadership, interpersonal skills etc.
• Able to design application and databases, test design and good trouble shooting techniques.
