Your main role will be to contribute to resolving issues related to one of our corporate real estate management applications, for all phases of the development cycle, including designs, specifications, coding, testing, packaging, installations, upgrades, customer service, and even occasionally DevOps activities. You will be part of a team that supports almost every aspect of developing, maintaining, and supporting the product, which is a Java based client/server solution. You will also engage with other teams from time to time to assist with other Java based applications.

What this job involves:

• Work on various customer facing products with customer support and product managers to solve customer issues.
• Monitor overall system health and troubleshoot customer issues.
• Write effective, scalable code on the client-side and server-side.
• Write unit and integration tests for client-side and server-side code.
• Improve functionality of existing systems.
• Implement security and data protection solutions.
• Coordinate with internal teams to understand user requirements and provide technical solutions.
• Write technical documentation.

• 3+ years of work experience with Java programming and RDBMS (SQL Oracle)

• Latest CoreJava (at least Java 8)
• Advanced Java - Servlets, JDBC, JPAs
• Testing Framework: JUnit and Mockito
• ORM like JPA
• REST APIs in Java
• Third-party integrations in Java application
• HTML, CSS, Javascript, and Jquery
• Apache Tomcat
• Apache Velocity Engines
• Jasper Studio
• Quartz Scheduler
• Build Tools like Maven and Gradle
• CI/CD Process using Bitbucket
• IDE like Intellij
• API platforms like Postman
• Monitoring Tools like Datadog
• Experience with Linux servers, preferably in an AWS environment
• Experience with deployment automation tools like Jenkins/Ansible
• Good problem-solving skills
• Experience working in Agile environment.
• Undergraduate or higher degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or relevant field
• The following experiences are a plus:

• Python, Django Web and Django Rest framework
• Containerization using Docker
• Native Android/iOS development
