About the company ATG, a Dutch firm headquartered in the Netherlands, with its international operational hub in Chennai, India, is seeking a Software Engineering Team Leader in Chennai. In this role, you will build & lead a team of Django developers, ensuring the delivery of robust, scalable, and efficient applications while fostering productivity and collaboration. We are looking for someone that (still) has hands-on exceptional software development capabilities, team management skills and a proven track record of creating advanced software solutions from scratch. Collaborate with leaders to understand their requirements and provide technical insights. Be responsible for the overall vision of the project and the direction of the development team. Plan, prioritize, and manage project tasks and resources effectively to ensure on-time delivery. Stay updated with the trends, tools, and technologies, and apply them to projects as appropriate. Oversee the work of the team and ensure that deadlines are met. Conduct regular code reviews to ensure code quality, adherence to standards, and documentation. Be responsible for testing the application to ensure that it is bug-free and meets all requirements. Document code, APIs, and system architecture. Prepare user guides and documentation for end-users. Identify and address technical challenges, troubleshoot issues and find innovative solutions to complex problems. Education and Experience: Hands-on development of portals for B2B applications. Bachelor\'s degree in a related field (or equivalent work experience). Some experience as a TL or lead developer. Proven experience 5+ Years in development using Django, Python, and JavaScript. Strong understanding of software architecture and design patterns. Exceptional English communication and interpersonal skills. Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. Additional Skills: Proficiency in version control systems like Git. Experience in database design Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
