NTT Team is looking for candidates who has 5-8 years of experience with knowledge on Middleware Engineering and operations. This role will need to perform all kids of Middleware administrative task for various distributed platforms and Application server environments. We are passionate about continuously improving the way we configure and operate the application servers, operational activities, patching and upgrades etc.

The Middleware Administrator will be responsible for:

• Administering, Configuring, Installing and Troubleshooting IBM WebSphere application servers, Apache Tomcat Application servers and Oracle WebLogic servers.
• Applying the Middleware patches such as JAVA/Tomcat onto WebSphere and Apache Tomcat environments.
• Usage of configuration management tools such as Ansible/Chef to automate the infrastructure changes, configuration, and patch management activities.
• Migration of critical Business and Enterprise applications from WAS6.X, WAS7 to WAS8, WAS9.X and Apache Tomcat platforms by mixed cell concept.
• Understanding the existing WebSphere/Tomcat environments and design, implementing a solution for upgrading environments without impact to the business.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot Apache SOLR, Zookeeper services and jBIAS vendor integrated services.
• Manage, configure, and perform operational activities on HP Dialogue/Exstream products and services.

• Installing the Keys and Certificates onto application server environments, configuring and Troubleshooting issues related to Virtual hosts, Application pool, Virtual directories, SSL certificates and deploying static contents on different types of webservers (Apache, IIS, IHS and CQ5)

• In WebSphere DataPower IDG environment, creating Web service proxies, deploying SOA based WSDLs files, configuring multiprotocol gateway policies, applying SSL client crypto profiles and SSL vendor certificates, and updating the XML firewall policy with the appropriate matching rules.
• Manage and monitor SSL, certificates, private/public key pairs and be up to date with latest cipher strengths as per Security Requirements.
• Maintain security audit requirements for Middleware Products and Services.
• Administering, configuring IWS (IBM Workload Scheduler) and Maestro services.
• Configuration and management of application server monitoring though SiteScope, AppDynamics and Log search capabilities through Elasticsearch.
• Ability to participate in an after-hours on-call rotation schedule.
• Working on multiple operating system platforms and creating shell, ant, python scripts to make the servers with high performance.
• Working on Major Production Releases, Emergency change moves into Production environments, Disaster recovery workflows, Infrastructure and Network Outages.

Required Skills:

• Minimum 5-8 years of experience in Middleware Engineering and operational activities.
• Strong knowledge on IBM WebSphere Application Server family like 6.x/7/8/9.X, IBM WebSphere message Queues, IBM WebSphere IDG DataPower Gateways, Apache-tomcat Application servers, Oracle WebLogic servers and IBM FileNet.
• Required skills on Configuration management such as Ansible and Chef.
• Knowledge on Apache SOLR and Zookeeper, IBM IWS and Maestro tools.
• Good understanding on HP Dialogue and Exstream application services.
• Strong Knowledge in Windows, Linux / UNIX administration.
• Preferably good knowledge in Java / J2EE concepts and distributed application platforms.
• Exposure to the software development processes such as building, unit testing, code analysis, the release process, and code coverage.
• Knowledge of basic Apache Ant and shell scripting, Python scripting, JSON and Groovy scripting.
• Application server monitoring tools such as SiteScope, AppDynamics and Log search capabilities through Elasticsearch.
