Responsibilities include analysis and design, as well as reviewing documented compensation plan components and associated definition and then developing plan. Other aspects of the projects involve design system architecture, data model, information flow, input and output configuration and reporting templates. QA Testing is also an important aspect of their work, before the deployment of the solutions.
Responsibilities:

• Support the administration of the Varicent Sales Performance Management (SPM) commission software application including configuration, enhancements, and bug fixes
• Deliver reliable, scalable, and efficient applications managing all phases of the development life cycle, including requirements gathering, modeling & design, development, testing, deployment, integration, and documentation.
• Work with cross-functional teams to develop solutions that accelerate cycle times, alleviate cumbersome manual processes, and ensure results are accurate.
• Review documented compensation plan components and associated definition and develop a plan
• Design system architecture, data model, information flow, input and output configuration and reporting templates
• Develop calculations/ Reports/ Forms (Complex or Medium complex) as per the business rules
• Identify process improvement opportunities to drive innovation.

Requirements:

• Overall 5 years of software development experience with a minimum 2 years of solutioning and programming experience with Varicent ICM- Composer, Reports, Web forms, schedule modules, system configuration, model building, and security
• Advanced knowledge of SQL and experience in working with MS SQL server
• Insurance domain (Life, Disability) experience - Experience with understanding the insurance terminology and Life Insurance/ Disability Insurance Agent contracts
• Strong knowledge in Design, Development and Testing of ETL methodologies in all the phases of the Data Warehousing
• Proficiency in creating and publishing dashboards and writing SQL queries to upload transactional data into ICM tables
• Prior expertise in business analysis and technical to develop requirements documents for ICM (Varicent)
• Skills in importing data from external sources into Varicent tables.
• Configured monthly, quarterly and annual incentives for compensation plans
• Experience with Agile Deliverables and ceremonies
• Must have created expert and proficient deliverables such as Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Specification Documents (FSD) and Requirement Specification Document (RSD)
• Advanced skills in SQL, Javascript, Debugging, Troubleshooting and performance tuning
• Capability to solve complex technical problems and assimilate information rapidly.
