The Visual Immersive eXperiences (VIX) team is committed to transforming AM into a lean-forward, engaging and immersive audio experience for our customers. This team specifically tackles the hard challenge of meeting the needs of audio entertainment customers while building engaging visual experiences that is simple, coherent and immersive. We strive to increase engagement, create differentiation as well as bring alive a sense of Community, enable Discovery & ignite Fandom for our customers. Importantly, we care deeply about building retentive experiences that directly contribute to our business while delighting customers.




This team operates in a fast-paced, innovative and highly ambiguous environment. A successful manager will be able to anticipate requirements, surface innovative solutions, strives to improve the overall development efficiency and retaining highly talented engineers.



You will work closely with product, design & technical teams in India and USA to create and enhance the application and to support high quality releases. You will lead a talented and nimble team of development and QA engineers. You are a strong and flexible leader who can prioritize well, know how to deal with ambiguity, changes in scope, have excellent communication skills, and have a track record for delivering results.

1. GraphQL/REST, AWS

2. Cutting edge mobile development - ReactNative, Kotlin, Java, Swift

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

7+ years of engineering experience 3+ years of engineering team management experience 8+ years of leading the definition and development of multi tier web services experience Knowledge of engineering practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, certification, and livesite operations Experience partnering with product or program management teams Experience designing or architecting (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and senior leadership to collect requirements, describe software product features, technical designs, and product strategy Experience in recruiting, hiring, mentoring/coaching and managing teams of Software Engineers to improve their skills, and make them more effective, product software engineers
