Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing technical team specializing in Oracle Database administration, backup/recovery strategies (including ZDLRA), and cloud migrations. Serve as a hands-on technical leader, driving architecture decisions, overseeing deployments, troubleshooting issues, and implementing process improvements. Define, track, and report on management KPIs to ensure team effectiveness, operational excellence, and alignment with organizational goals. Collaborate with infrastructure, application, and business stakeholders to create robust, secure, and scalable database and backup environments. Champion innovation by driving the adoption of emerging technologies, automation, and industry best practices within the team. Foster a culture of AI adoption by integrating intelligent automation and data-driven solutions into operational workflows.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). Team leadership experience including managing technical projects, reporting, and KPI development.

Extensive Hands-on Experience In:

Oracle Database Administration RMAN Backup and Recovery Large-scale enterprise operations Cloud management tools (3-5 years): + Oracle Cloud (preferred), AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud
+ Python
+ Terraform
+ Ansible
+ Jira
Linux administration Escalation management (minimum 5 years)
