We're looking for hands on Engineering Managers with expertise and passion in solving difficult problems in distributed systems, cloud native technologies, and highly available services.


You work on a team that owns the design, development, and operations for major components of Oracle's Cloud Infrastructure in the Cloud Native space. You should be a distributed systems generalist, able to understand broad systems interactions, while being very hands-on, able to dive deep into any part of the stack and lower-level system interactions. You should value simplicity and scale, work comfortably in a collaborative, agile environment, and be excited to learn.
Minimum Qualifications:


6 to 10+ years of experience in designing, delivering and operating large scale, highly available, distributed systems.

Good knowledge of Object-Oriented programming language such as Java, C#, C++ and experience with scripting languages such as Python.
Good knowledge of data structures, algorithms, operating systems and distributed systems fundamentals. Good knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP) and standard network architectures. Good troubleshooting skills and demonstrated ability to deliver quality code. Experience working on multi-tenant, virtualized infrastructure a strong plus. Good analytical skills and willingness to look at alternate paths to a solution. Experience designing and driving technical solutions and mentoring engineers. * Strong leadership, collaboration and communication skills.
