Reporting to Associate Director, you will be responsible for driving the successful delivery of projects, maintaining the technical roadmap, and fostering a culture of innovation and excellence within the team. Role and Responsibilities: Partner with Product Management, Engineering, and Customer Support teams to ensure the successful delivery and performance of our product suite. Drive the creation of innovative, high-quality technology solutions, significantly impacting business and promoting revenue growth. Collaborate with senior individual contributors (ICs) for technology selection, product architecture, and design decisions. Act as a trusted advisor, coach, and guide, building a motivated, committed team. Proactively identify areas to enhance engineering efficiency and improve SDLC processes and quality practices within the team. Partner with Product Managers to lead Sprint Planning, Execution, Sprint Demos, and Closure activities. Own the responsibility of delivering features and providing efficient product support by setting appropriate priorities. Oversee architecture, design, code, test strategies, and test cases, ensuring the team is moving in the right direction. Monitor backend performance metrics, assuring services meet the highest quality and security standards. Collaborate closely with customer support teams to enable and enhance customer success. Requirements : Around 10+ years of experience, with a minimum of 2 years in people management. Strong people management skills, with an ability to hire and build a performant and result-oriented team. Excellent technical understanding of backend technologies (Python, Golang, etc.), cloud-based services (AWS preferred), and databases. Demonstrated expertise in building and maintaining highly available, fault-tolerant, and scalable backend systems, with microservices and well-designed APIs, in the cloud. Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with individuals at all levels of the organization.
