Summary: As a Software Development Lead, you will develop and configure software systems, either end-to-end or for specific stages of the product lifecycle. Your typical day will involve collaborating with various teams to ensure the successful implementation of software solutions, applying your knowledge of technologies and methodologies to support project goals and client needs. You will engage in problem-solving activities, guiding your team through challenges while ensuring that the software development process aligns with best practices and project requirements. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME. - Collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. - Facilitate knowledge sharing sessions to enhance team capabilities. - Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines and quality standards. Professional & Technical Skills: - Proficiency in Microsoft Fabric and related services: DevOps, Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics, OneLake, Data Analytics, workspace configuration and Power BI integration. - Data Architecture and Modelling: Designing and implementing data lake architectures, quality frameworks, DevOps methodology, structures and workflows within Fabric. - Data Integration: Experience in designing and implementing ETL/ELT workflows. - Profisee Set up and Integration - MDM set up and configuration - Microsoft 365 integration -Integrate the fabric data platform with relevant Microsoft 365 services - Fabric Resource Management: Managing and optimizing Fabric resources, including Fabric SKUs, OneLake, and Workspace configurations. - Strong programming skills: Python, PySpark, Scala, and/or SQL for data manipulation and scripting. Optimizing for performance and scalability - Data Quality, Standards and Governance: Ensuring data quality and integrity throughout the data pipeline, implementing data governance practices such as IAM policies, RBAC, RLS, data masking, and encryption. - Communication and Collaboration: Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with stakeholders and developers.
