Summary: We are seeking an experienced Display Infrastructure Lead to drive the design, development, and optimization of display and graphics subsystems for next-generation automotive infotainment, instrument clusters, and digital cockpit platforms. The candidate will be responsible for end-to-end display pipeline architecture, performance, and integration, ensuring seamless rendering of complex UIs and multiple concurrent applications on embedded platforms. Roles & Responsibilities: Key Responsibilities: oLead the design and development of display infrastructure, including multi-display management, rendering pipelines, and composition frameworks. oDefine and implement display architecture covering graphics drivers, middleware, and hardware acceleration. oCollaborate with SoC vendors, middleware, Android/AAOS, and HMI/UI teams to enable optimized performance and seamless integration. oEnsure synchronization, latency management, and high frame-rate rendering across multiple displays (HUD, cluster, infotainment, rear-seat displays). oDefine and drive display virtualization, hypervisor integration, and GPU/CPU resource sharing strategies. oPerform performance profiling, debugging, and tuning of rendering paths, memory bandwidth, and composition. oContribute to standards compliance (OpenGL ES, Vulkan, Wayland, DRM/KMS, Android SurfaceFlinger/Composer). oLead proof-of-concept developments, benchmarking, and bring-up of display pipelines on new SoCs and boards. oCollaborate closely with validation teams to define test strategies for graphics performance, stability, and reliability. oMentor engineers on display technologies, GPU pipelines, and best practices. Professional & Technical Skills: Technical Experience: oStrong expertise in graphics/display infrastructure in embedded/automotive systems. oHands-on experience with DRM/KMS, Wayland, SurfaceFlinger, HW Composer, GPU/SoC display subsystems. oStrong programming skills in C/C++, OpenGL ES, Vulkan, and familiarity with Android/AAOS display stack. oExperience with multi-display management, frame buffer management, video overlays, and composition. oDeep understanding of SoC display controllers, GPU/CPU load balancing, memory bandwidth optimization. oProven track record in display bring-up, debugging (perf tools, systrace, GPU profilers). oExperience with virtualization and hypervisors (QNX Hypervisor, AGL, Xen, KVM) for display sharing. oGood knowledge of Linux graphics stack (Mesa, GBM, EGL). oStrong leadership, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills. oGood problem-solving and analytical skills. oExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.
