Summary: We are seeking a highly experienced SoC Lead to drive the architecture, design, and integration of System-on-Chip platforms for high-performance embedded applications in Automotive domain. The ideal candidate will lead cross-functional teams across hardware, firmware, and software domains to deliver scalable, secure, and efficient SoC solutions. We are looking for leaders in Automotive domain with experience in multiple SOCs (Qualcomm, Renesas, Texas Instruments, NXP and the likes); Expertise in bringing Bootloaders, Operating system on SOC; Expertise in Base software, SW integration and OS optimization; Expertise in working with cross functional teams in Infotainment, Powertrain, ADAS domain covering display, Camera, Audio/Video areas Roles & Responsibilities: Key Responsibilities: oLead the definition and development of SoC architecture for automotive vehicle platforms including infotainment, ADAS, and vehicle control systems. oCollaborate with hardware, firmware, and software teams to ensure seamless integration and performance optimization. oDrive platform decisions including CPU/GPU/DSP selection, memory hierarchy, power management, and peripheral interfaces. oLead the design, integration, and validation of Base Software (Linux, Android, QNX) for automotive SoCs. oOversee bring-up, validation, and debugging of SoC platforms. oEnsure compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO 26262, PCIe, USB, MIPI, Ethernet). oInterface with silicon vendors, IP providers, and foundries. oDefine and manage SoC roadmap aligned with product and business goals. oDrive development and optimization of Display, Camera, Audio, and Video pipelines. oCollaborate with system architects, hardware, and application teams to ensure seamless SoC platform functionality. oGuide a team of engineers, define priorities, and ensure on-time delivery of milestones. oInterface with Tier-1s, OEMs, and partners for technical discussions and solution alignment. oWork closely with cross-functional teams across globe Professional & Technical Skills: Technical Experience: oOverall, 15+ years of experience in Automotive/Embedded Software domain. 3-5 years in Lead role. Worked on at-least 2 SOCs for 2 projects as a Lead Architect oProven experience in SoC architecture and embedded systems for automotive applications. oDeep understanding of ARM, RISC-V, or custom automotive-grade processors. oExperience with SoC bring-up, BSPs, device drivers, and middleware. oExperience with automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN, FlexRay, Ethernet). oFamiliarity with firmware development (bootloaders, BSPs, device drivers). oStrong knowledge of power and thermal management in constrained environments. oProven expertise in Base SW development (Linux, Android, QNX). oStrong knowledge of Display Infrastructure, Camera, Audio, and Video subsystems. oExcellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills. oLeadership in driving cross-domain technical teams. oExcellent problem solving and debugging skills. oKnowledge in working with Infotainment setup. oStrong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a cross functional team. oGood problem-solving and analytical skills. oExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.
