Summary: We are seeking a highly experienced RTOS Lead to architect and lead the development of real-time operating system (RTOS) platforms for automotive ECUs. The ideal candidate will drive system design, integration, and validation across safety-critical and performance-sensitive domains such as powertrain, chassis, ADAS, and body electronics. Roles & Responsibilities: Key Responsibilities: oLead the design and development of RTOS-based embedded platforms for automotive applications. oDefine system architecture, task scheduling strategies, and inter-process communication mechanisms. oCollaborate with hardware, software, and safety teams to ensure seamless integration and compliance. oDrive compliance with ISO 26262 (functional safety), ASPICE, and ISO 21434 (cybersecurity). oOptimize system performance, latency, and resource utilization. oManage RTOS configurations, BSPs, and device drivers for automotive-grade microcontrollers and SoCs. oInterface with Tier-1 suppliers, tool vendors, and OEMs to align platform requirements. oMentor and guide embedded engineers across multiple vehicle programs. oOwn the RTOS platform roadmap and contribute to long-term software strategy. oConduct testing and debugging of functionalities to ensure functionality and quality. oDiagnosing and troubleshooting system issues. oWork closely with cross-functional teams across globe Professional & Technical Skills: Technical Experience: oOverall, 12+ years of experience in Infotainment domain with experience in Android Development. oStrong experience in RTOS development (e.g., FreeRTOS, Zephyr, QNX, VxWorks, AUTOSAR OS). oProficiency in embedded C/C++, task scheduling, and low-level debugging. oDeep understanding of automotive communication protocols (CAN, LIN, Ethernet). oExperience with safety-critical systems and real-time constraints. oFamiliarity with bootloaders, memory management, and interrupt handling. oExcellent leadership, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration skills. oExcellent problem solving and debugging skills. oStrong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a cross functional team oGood problem-solving and analytical skills. oExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.
