Summary: As a Software Development Lead, you will be responsible for developing and configuring software systems, either end-to-end or for specific stages of the product lifecycle. Your typical day will involve collaborating with various teams to ensure that the software meets client requirements, applying your knowledge of technologies and methodologies to support project goals, and overseeing the implementation of software solutions that enhance user experience and functionality. Roles & Responsibilities: Key Responsibilities: oLead the end-to-end architecture and implementation of OTA update systems (FOTA, SOTA, ECU updates). oCollaborate with system architects, cybersecurity teams, and cloud/backend teams to define OTA strategies. oDefine OTA workflows, update policies, rollback mechanisms, and version management. oEnsure compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO 26262, ISO 21434, AUTOSAR). oManage OTA validation, testing, and deployment pipelines. oInterface with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) for OTA backend integration. oMentor and guide a team of embedded and cloud engineers. oOwn the OTA roadmap and ensure timely delivery of milestones. oDiagnosing and troubleshooting system issues. oWork closely with cross-functional teams across globe Professional & Technical Skills: Technical Experience: oOverall, 15+ years of experience in Embedded Software domain. oStrong experience in embedded systems, Linux, and RTOS environments. oDeep understanding of OTA protocols, update agents, and bootloaders. oExperience with secure update mechanisms (encryption, signing, rollback). oFamiliarity with cloud-based OTA platforms and CI/CD pipelines. oKnowledge of automotive communication protocols (CAN, UDS, DoIP). oHands-on experience with tools like Yocto, Jenkins, Git, and Docker. oExcellent communication and leadership skills. oExcellent problem solving and debugging skills and ability to work effectively in a cross functional team Additional Information: oBachelor's or Master's in computers, Electronics, or any related stream
