Summary: As a Software Development Lead, you will engage in the development and configuration of software systems, either managing the entire process or focusing on specific stages of the product lifecycle. Your typical day will involve collaborating with various teams, applying your expertise in technologies and methodologies to support projects and clients effectively. You will be responsible for ensuring that the software solutions meet the required standards and contribute to the overall success of the organization. Key Responsibilities: o Historical Data Migration: Lead the end-to-end process of migrating historical financial data from legacy consolidation systems into SAP S/4HANA Group Reporting, ensuring data integrity and compliance with financial reporting standards. o Build : Configuring Mapping definitions in GRDC tool to ensure data mapping between legacy and GR system. o Utilize SAP Tools: Employ SAP's Group Reporting Data Collection Apps (GRDC) tools to facilitate efficient and accurate data migration processes. o Data Mapping and Transformation: Design and implement data mapping strategies to align legacy data structures with SAP Group Reporting requirements, including FS item mapping and consolidation unit alignment. o Validation and Reconciliation: Develop and execute validation protocols to ensure the accuracy and completeness of migrated data, reconciling discrepancies and ensuring consistency across financial reports. o Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of migration processes, data mappings, validation results, and any issues encountered, providing transparency and facilitating future audits or reviews. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME. - Collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. - Facilitate knowledge sharing and mentoring within the team to enhance overall performance. - Monitor project progress and ensure alignment with strategic goals. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP S/4HANA Group Reporting. - Strong understanding of software development methodologies and best practices. - Experience with system integration and data migration processes. - Ability to analyze and optimize software performance. - Familiarity with project management tools and techniques. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in SAP S/4HANA Group Reporting. - This position is based at our Gurugram office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
