Summary: As a Software Development Engineer, you will engage in a variety of tasks that involve analyzing, designing, coding, and testing multiple components of application code across various clients. Your typical day will include collaborating with team members to ensure the successful implementation of application features, performing maintenance and enhancements, and contributing to the overall development work required for project success. You will also be involved in troubleshooting issues and optimizing existing code to improve performance and reliability, ensuring that the applications meet the needs of the clients effectively. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Assist in the documentation of application processes and procedures. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and provide technical insights. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Cobol Mainframe. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with application performance tuning. - Familiarity with database management systems and SQL. - Understanding of software development life cycle methodologies. - Experience in debugging and troubleshooting application issues. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Cobol Mainframe. - This position is based at our Hyderabad office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
