Summary: As a Software Development Engineer, you will engage in a dynamic work environment where you will analyze, design, code, and test various components of application code for multiple clients. Your day will involve collaborating with team members to ensure the successful implementation of software solutions, while also performing maintenance and enhancements to existing applications. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality code and contributing to the overall success of the projects you are involved in, ensuring that client requirements are met effectively and efficiently. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications. - Conduct code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Apigee, Python (Programming Language), GitHub Actions. - Strong understanding of API management and integration techniques. - Experience with cloud services and deployment strategies. - Familiarity with software development methodologies such as Agile or Scrum. - Ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently. Apigee Proxy Automation Skillset Extensive knowledge of Apigee platform, its usage and ability to build and deploy API, Products in APIGEE Must have experience in designing, creating APIGEE shared workflows to apply various policies like security, authn + authz, rate limits, etc. Must have Python scripting skillset. Must have experience in creating APIGEE based liniting rules. Knowledge of API best practices and performance Must have demonstrated Proficiency in GitHub and GitOps. Must have worked with JFrog Artifactory to manage application, API artifacts Must have experience in CI/CD using Git actions. Must have knowledge of swagger hub/ Open API Spec. Good to have experience in docker and cloud technologies. Good to have experience in Splunk, Dynatrace. Good to have knowledge of caching framework. Good to have knowledge of API management. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Apigee. - A 15 years full time education is required. - 24*7 Support role
