Summary: As a Automotive ECU Software, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality and functionality of our automotive software products, particularly those developed using the Simulink platform. The GTIS Algorithm and Software Engineering Team is seeking a talented and motivated Software Test Engineer to join our team. Roles & Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for automotive software applications. -Utilize Simulink expertise to create test models and leverage Model-Based Design for testing. -Collaborate with engineers and other stakeholders to understand requirements and develop effective test strategies. -Automate test execution using scripting languages (e.g., Python, MATLAB) and testing frameworks. -Identify, document, and report software defects using bug tracking tools. -Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve software quality. -Stay up-to-date on the latest testing methodologies and tools relevant to the automotive industry. Professional & Technical Skills: -Minimum of 3 years of experience in software testing, preferably in the automotive industry. Experience with Simulink model development and code verification using static analysis tools (e.g., Polyspace) and unit testing methodologies. - Proven ability to leverage static analysis tools to improve unit test coverage and code quality for Simulink models. - Experience using a combination of static analysis and unit testing to ensure the robustness and reliability of automotive software (developed in Simulink). - Familiarity with automotive software development processes (e.g., V-model, Agile). - Strong written and verbal communication skills. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, MATLAB) a plus. - Experience with automotive testing tools (e.g., CANoe, Vector tools) a plus. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in Automotive ECU Software. - This position is based at our Hyderabad office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
