Summary: As a Software Development Engineer, you will engage in a dynamic work environment where you will analyze, design, code, and test various components of application code across multiple clients. Your typical day will involve collaborating with team members to perform maintenance and enhancements, ensuring that the application meets the evolving needs of users while adhering to best practices in software development. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform. - Responsible for team decisions. - Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions. - Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams. - Facilitate knowledge sharing sessions to enhance team capabilities and foster a culture of continuous improvement. - Monitor project progress and provide timely updates to stakeholders to ensure alignment with project goals. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP HANA DB Administration. - Experience with SAP HANA Technical Architecture. - Strong conceptual understanding & knowledge on the RDBMS products in the market - Over 8+ years of work experience as Database Administrator in SAP HANA, ASE and other DB Platforms - Experience in DB Backup and Restore - Cloud knowledge is must (e.g. experience of working in Public Cloud Domains like Microsoft Azure, AWS and GCP) - Providing technical expertise and support in developing backup solutions. - DB Concept on Security, Backup and recovery strategies, System Copies, high availability and disaster recovery strategy - Organize / Structure day2day documentation as needed. - Willingness to take on-call duty/Weekend tasks during working hours. The on-call duty is based on rotation - Experience working with Linux is a must. - Good to have Professional Certification of Database Platform . Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 7.5 years of experience in SAP HANA DB Administration. - This position is based at our Hyderabad office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
