Summary: As a Software Development Engineer, you will engage in a dynamic work environment where you will analyze, design, code, and test various components of application code for multiple clients. Your day will involve collaborating with team members to ensure the successful implementation of enhancements and maintenance tasks, while also contributing to the development of new features that meet client needs. You will be responsible for troubleshooting issues and providing solutions, ensuring that the application runs smoothly and efficiently. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Assist in the documentation of processes and procedures to enhance team knowledge. - Engage in code reviews to ensure quality and adherence to best practices. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Sybase Database Administration (DBA). - Strong understanding of database design and architecture. - Experience with performance tuning and optimization of database queries. - Familiarity with backup and recovery strategies for database management. - Knowledge of SQL and stored procedures for data manipulation. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in Sybase Database Administration (DBA). - This position is based at our Chennai office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
