Summary: As a Software Development Lead, you will develop and configure software systems either end-to-end or for a specific stage of the product lifecycle. Apply knowledge of technologies, applications, methodologies, processes, and tools to support a client, project, or entity. Be involved in key decision-making processes and collaborate with multiple teams. We are looking for Ignition developer extensive experience in designing, developing, and deploying industrial automation solutions using Ignition by Inductive Automation. Roles & Responsibilities: o Design, develop, deploy and maintain Ignition Applications o Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features. o Familiarity with databases and SQL queries. o Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability. o Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members. o Troubleshoot and debug applications to ensure optimal performance. o Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and best practices. o Ability to support, maintain, and enhance deployed software solutions. Professional & Technical Skills: o Must To Have Skills: Ignition SCADA, PL/SQL, Python, Java o Any MES, PLC/SCADA o Develop and Maintain Ignition Applications: o Hands on experience with Ignition Platform for developing MES dashboards using Vision and Perspective Module o Design and implement HMI/SCADA applications using Ignition. o Develop custom Ignition modules and scripts. o Create and maintain Ignition projects, including the design of windows, reports, and dashboards. o Integrate Ignition with various industrial control systems (PLCs, DCS etc.). o Connect Ignition to databases and other data sources. o Configure and manage OPC servers and other communication protocols. o Hot fix, upgrade, installation, administration of ignition application o Have worked upon end to end implementation - right from requirement analysis, mapping these to technical design, development, testing and deployment o Should have developed interfaces between ignition and ERP (ERP Integration) and shop floor systems o Should be ignition gold certified Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 8 years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering MES. - Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics & Communications or equivalent courses. - Good Communication skills Quick Learner and enthusiastic to learn new technologies and tools Strong written, verbal and interpersonal communications Ability to collaborate with team - This position is based at our Pune office. - A 15 years full-time education is required.
