Automation Test Engineer



We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented SDET to join our CDI Data Engineering team. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust automated testing frameworks for our microservices architecture built on JHipster, Spring Boot, and React, running on Kubernetes in GCP. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in test automation, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-native development, with a proactive mindset to improve overall platform quality.



Years Of Experience



4 to 8 Years







Mandatory Skills



1. Bachelors or Masters Degree in Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent experience.



2. Extensive hands-on technical expertise, including experience with Java.



3. Experience testing RESTful web services using Rest Assured and POSTMAN



4. Solid hands on experience in UI automation using Selenium or Playwright.



5. Experienced in creating robust automation framework from scratch that can handle web and mobile screens.



6. Experience working on unit testing tools like Cucumber BDD



7. Experience with all aspects of software test, including test planning, test automation, failure mode test, etc.



8. Experience with build automation and continuous integration tools (e.g., Jenkins).



9. Ability to estimate effort and size of features



10. Experience with agile development methodologies and test driven development processes



11. Experience using source control (esp. Git) and bug tracking systems in a team environment



Desired Skills



1. Experience on testing Microservice architecture and Event Driven Design framework



2. Experience on any performance testing tool like K6, JMeter, LoadRunner Experience on any mocking tools like Mockito, Wiredmock, Microcks
