Summary: As a Software Development Engineer, you will engage in a dynamic work environment where you will analyze, design, code, and test various components of application code across multiple clients. Your day will involve collaborating with team members to ensure the successful implementation of software solutions, while also performing maintenance and enhancements to existing applications. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality code and contributing to the overall success of the projects you are involved in. Roles & Responsibilities: - Expected to perform independently and become an SME. - Required active participation/contribution in team discussions. - Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and provide technical insights. - Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices and coding standards. o Design, develop, and maintain scalable Java-based REST APIs. o Build and configure Apigee API proxies, policies, and security flows. o Create reusable API templates and blueprints for rapid deployment. o Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define API requirements and best practices. o Develop and enforce API governance, standards, and documentation. o Conduct API testing, troubleshoot issues, and optimize performance. o Implement proactive monitoring and diagnostics for live API services. o Mentor team members on API design, versioning, and life cycle management. o Stay updated on industry trends and emerging API technologies. o Contribute to a collaborative, innovative team focused on API-driven solutions. Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in API Management. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with Java. - Strong understanding of RESTful services and API design principles. - Experience with API testing tools such as Postman or SoapUI. - Familiarity with cloud-based API management platforms. Additional Information: - The candidate should have minimum 3 years of experience in API Management. - This position is based at our Bengaluru office. - A 15 years full time education is required.
