Summary: We are looking for a talented Android Application Developer to design, build, and maintain high-performance, reusable, and reliable Android applications. Roles and Responsibilities: o Responsible for requirements analysis and design and architecture for functionalities for HMI for In-Vehicle Infotainment. o Responsible for requirements analysis and design and architecture for platform and OS functionalities. o Responsible for design and development with Android automotive framework such as audio, video, camera o Responsible for developing modules to interact with VHAL and other HAL's WRT infotainment domain. o Responsible for developing modules using AAOS using different android components for infotainment. o Responsible for troubleshooting issues and resolving them for infotainment applications. o Responsible for monitoring and guiding the junior team members. Professional & Technical Skills: o Experience in infotainment domain o Should have good understanding on integration of Infotainment in the vehicles. o Hands on knowledge in Android based application development, Android SDK, Core Java, NDK, Android framework and customization. o Hands on expertise on the integration of AIDL/HIDL o Should have very good understanding of different Android component: Services, Broadcast receivers, content providers. o Working experience in AOSP and or AAOS. o Good knowledge in Hardware abstraction layers in Android. o Hands on experience writing unit test cases for developed modules. o Must have strong experience on Android Components and jetpack library. o Must have strong experience on solid principals, java design patterns and MVVM. o Should be Having experience in Service binding, IPC communication and thread handling. o Good experience on Java/Kotlin o Good experience on C++ 14/17 o Good understanding of the git, CI/CD workflow o Strong communication and team collaboration skills o Optional: Application Development experience for Media and Phone App, Navigation, Home Screen Customization, cloud communication ( very rare skill again, would not treat this as mandatory, rather opionally) o Optional: Experience on BT, Wi-Fi, GPS, CAN integration at application level. (again, would not treat this as mandatory, rather optionally) Additional Information: o The candidate should have a minimum of 3+ Years of experience Android application development o This position is based at our Bangalore office (client office) o A 15 years full time education is required
