satisfaction.
The goal of EG Advertising (EGA) Tech team is to spearhead advertising products and services across many Expedia brands including BEX, Hotels.com, Portfolio
Brands (COMET & Hotwire.com), Expedia Partner Sites (EPS), and Vrbo. We help our advertisers identify travelers on EG sites, target specific traveller criteria, and then deliver the most relevant products.
In this role, you will:
Develop, debug, and modify components of software applications and tools
You will write automated unit, integration and acceptance tests as appropriate to support our continuous integration pipelines
Support and fix data and/or system issues as needed
Provide improvements to solutions for a given problem
You will resolve problems and roadblocks as they occur, Follow through on details and drive issues to closure
You define, develop and maintain artifacts like technical design or stakeholder documentation
You actively participate in code and design reviews
Participate in user story creation in partnership with the team(s)
Experience and qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Masters degree in a Technical field; or equivalent related professional experience

2+ years of Software Engineering experience with Agile development methodology, continuous delivery and related engineering practices
Experience with building, testing, deploying & monitoring web applications and domain services in the cloud
Experience with server-side & client-side programming languages & frameworks
Experience with SQL or NoSQL database
Experience with GIT (version control)
Experience working with building Data solutions using technology like Apache Spark, Flink, Airflow is
