Software Development Engineer - ERP & E-commerce Integration

Position Summary:

We are seeking a Software Development Engineer to support, enhance, and integrate critical systems, including our custom ERP system, Fishbowl MRP, product configurators, real-time inventory solutions, and e-commerce platforms. You'll collaborate with IT, sales, operations, and marketing to ensure seamless performance, integrating backend systems with modern frontend frameworks like Vue.js and React for enhanced user experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

? Develop and maintain backend systems that support:

? Custom ERP system - tailored workflows for manufacturing and order processing

? Fishbowl MRP integration - inventory, BOMs, and production workflows

? QuickBooks Online - finance integrations

? Custom order management systems

? Product configurators (build-to-order BOM logic)

? Real-time inventory and online order entry

? Build and maintain frontend components using Vue.js or React to support custom digital

tools (e.g., Legend Plate customizer, similar to legend-plates.com)

? Develop APIs and automation tools to integrate custom ERP, Fishbowl, and other

disparate systems

? Collaborate with U.S.-based and El Salvador-based teams to align backend and frontend

functionality

? Troubleshoot and resolve system-level issues; implement scalable, preventative solutions

? Document system logic, APIs, workflows, and frontend-backend interactions

Qualifications:

Required:

? 4-7 years of backend development or systems integration experience

? Experience with ERP systems (Fishbowl or custom ERP preferred)

? Proficiency in API development, SQL, and Node.js

? Proficiency in Vue.js or React for frontend development

? Experience with QuickBooks API, e-commerce workflows, and custom app development

? Strong problem-solving and cross-functional collaboration skills

? AWS Cloud Practitioner Certification (or equivalent)

? AWS Associate Certification (Developer) or equivalent skill

Preferred:

? Experience with both Fishbowl MRP and custom ERP integrations

? Familiarity with headless commerce frameworks (Shopify, WooCommerce, or custom)

? Understanding of BOM configuration logic or rule-based configurators

? Exposure to manufacturing or industrial product environments

? Contributions to open-source projects or a strong GitHub portfolio
